SCYF Cheer Information
Cheer season runs from August 1 to December 31. The tackle cheer program is for girls ages 5 (as of August 1) to 15. Efforts will be made to assign veteran cheerleaders to the same team and coach from prior years. However, please be advised that final roster assignment will be determined according to Pop Warner rules and within the discretion of the Cheer Coordinator.
Tackle cheer registration fee is: $175 plus online registration fees. A $10 discount for each additional child is applied when registered together.
Documents due by July 1:
1. Birth Certificate
2. Recent wallet sized photo
3. Previous school year complete report card
4. Player contract
5. Pop Warner Medical History Form
Practices:
Practices are held at Bulldog Field, located behind Hickory Tree Elementary School. Tackle cheerleaders will practice three nights a week, except for Tiny Mites, who practice two nights a week. Days and times are determined by the coaches for each team, with input from parents of the cheerleaders on team.
Games:
Games days are on Saturdays. Home games will be played at Bulldog Field. Away games will be played at the opposing team's field. The season schedule is determined by Mid Florida Pop Warner and will be announced in late August.
